Leadership

Sanjiv Gandhi founded Hester Diagnostics in 1986, driven by his passion for healthcare and his commitment to bringing world-class medical technologies to India. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Sciences at Barat College of DePaul University (USA), he saw the opportunity to bridge global innovation with Indian healthcare needs. Nearly four decades later, Hester has grown into one of the country’s most trusted medical device distribution and marketing companies.

Under his leadership, the company has built strong global partnerships and lasting relationships with leading clinicians, becoming a key player in interventional cardiology, radiology, neurointervention, GI endoscopy, and diagnostics. Integrity, service, and innovation remain the values guiding Hester’s culture and role in advancing patient care.

Beyond business, Sanjiv is the Founder Trustee of The India Neuro Interventional Foundation (INIF; www.indianeurofoundation.org), a nonprofit advancing neurointervention in India through charitable, educational, and humanitarian work. Since 2003, he has also co - organized the annual INIF Monsoon Meeting in Goa, one of the country’s most respected neurointervention gatherings, focused on open discussions of techniques, devices, and outcomes to improve practice and patient care.
